The grandly named Totterdown Foundry consists of a specially constructed furnace and associated equipment located in Totterdown Bristol. All castings are made from 100% recycled aluminium (mainly chopped up old car crankcases and aluminium wheels) using the lost foam casting method. Each item is individually cast and then hand finished to produce a unique aluminium object. I am always on the look out for casting projects - so get in touch if you have any ideas. |
